A bit more about our day tours.
Approximately 11% of Iceland is covered with glaciers, and Iceland is probably the best place in the world to see these frozen giants. The biggest glaciers in Iceland are also the easiest to reach from the capital Reykjavík since there is only about two hours drive to the fourth biggest one in the south of Iceland.

Throughout the year we operate spectacular glacier tours on Sólheimajökull Glacier, the biggest glacier tong derived from Mýrdalsjökull glacier on the South coast. We will pick you up in Reykjavik but if you have a car, you can also meet us at the parking area in front of the Glacier. |
Besides operating Glacier Tours on Sólheimajökull Glacier all year round Icelandic Mountain Guides establish a camp in Skaftafell National Park starting 1st of April and lasting til 15th of Oktober. In Skaftafell you can choose from both Glacier tours on Svínafellsjökull glacier as well as tours to the summit of Hvannadalshnúkur (2110 m), the highest mountain in Iceland. |
