Departures: All Year daily at 9:30 and 15:30 and June 15th - August 31st also: 10:30, 13:00 and 16:30

Price For Children : 3.900 ISK

Minimum Age : 8 yrs.
Included : Guiding services, ice gear (crampons and Ice axes) and safety equipment.
Note : Bring warm clothing, rain gear and good shoes.
Duration : 2hrs in total, 1 to 1 ½ hrs on the ice.
Meeting Point : Parking area in front of Sólheimajökull glacier.

This easy and safe glacier walk is for those who want to get a glimpse of the breathtaking Sólheimajökull glacier, and its surroundings. The tour focuses on the exploration of water cauldrons, waterways and other ice features of the glacier where we will experience the different shades of the glaciers, white ice, blue ice and just plain clear ice. Before setting out on to the glacier the glacier guide will teach you how to use the basic glacier equipment, crampons and ice axes, required for this tour. Suitable for everybody (min age 8 years).
