Sólheimajökull Ice Climbing

Hello, I participated in the Solheimajokull Glacier Climb back in October 2004. Your guide, Ivar, was fantastic; and, I now refer to that day as the ONE which got me hooked on climbing. I have since been ice climbing in Colorado on two separate occasions, and I also took up rock climbing which is more indigenous to California (where I live).

Sólheimajökull Ice Climbing

Just to say thank you for arranging our tour last Thursday to climb the glacier. Our guide was excellent. Please do tell him. He was great and extremely patient with 3 inexperienced Brits!

We were a little worried about "townies" on a glacier, especially with the very strong winds at the beginning, but Ingvar was brilliant.
