Landmannalaugar - Skógar

My husband and I finished trekking last week and were thrilled with our experience.  Zsolt our guide was exactly what one would hope for; experienced, patient, confident, and good humored throughout the trip.  We were also lucky with our driver, Clements, who made a fantastic meat stew and had our bags unloaded and ready each time we arrived for a night's rest.  The mountain huts far exceeded expectations, as did the food.  We came for the beauty of the Icelandic terrain, but we were incredibly pleased with our guide, driver, and accommodations.
