Education: In addition to his guiding qualifications Bjöggi is a biologist and also has a degree in journalism. He got his basic mountaineering education form the Icelandic Rescue Teams. Bjöggi talented photographer and a coffee concierge. Bjöggi has a professional drivers license.

Specialization: As one of the stronger climbers with IMG Bjöggi will frequently do climbing and mountaineering instructions as well as guiding on private Ice-Climbing trips. Most of his work is how ever spent on the hard ice around Skaftafell and on Sólheimajökull. There Bjöggi has earned the nick name Hunky-Guide as can be seen on the links below. Bjöggi is also responsible for allot of the photos used in the Brocures of IMG.
