Andrea Burgherr

Andrea was born in Switzerland but starting to make trips to Iceland in1983, she has since developed a deep love for Iceland´s natural beauty. Her guiding experience goes all the way back to 1986 guiding a backpack tour from Þórsmörk to Landmannalaugar. She has since travelled all over Iceland as well as in East Greenland. In 1999 she started summertime guiding for IMG but continued as a teacher in winter in primary school. In 2005 she quit her teaching job and started working full time as an IMG office staff member. Today she takes care of all logistics connected with incoming groups. Her favorite spot in Iceland: Grænalónið in South Iceland (Skaftafell National Park).
