Icelands Highest Waterfall, Glymur, Þingvellir National Park and the Nesjavellir Hot Springs

The tour starts by a drive along the Hvalfjörður, the “whale” fjord, before setting out on a 3 hrs walk a spectacular route to Iceland’s highest waterfall, Glymur 198m (650 feet). From here we drive to Þingvellir National Park and a World Heritage Site, where we hike for 1 hour on the old Assembly grounds before  taking a scenic drive along Lake Þingvallavatn to get to the Nesjavellir geothermal area.

A one hour walk here allows you time to explore the magnificent boiling mud pools, solfatars (or fumaroles that emit sulphurous gases) and hot springs. There is magnificent nature and scenery here waiting for your discovery.
