Imagine experiencing two legends of Iceland in one tour - riding an even-tempered Icelandic horse like the Vikings did and walking in the labyrinth of the Sólheimajökull glacier... all during the same day!

This tour starts with a 1.5-2 hours riding tour in the spirit of the Vikings. Where we go depends on wind, weather and the participants' riding experience. After a traditional meal that varies with the season, the tour continues towards the great Mýrdalsjökull glacier, one of Iceland’s largest. Here on the Sólheimajökull glacier tongue we put on our crampons and ice axes to discover a wonderland of ice sculptures, ridges and deep crevasses, hiding the deep blue colour of the glacier ice. A great Iceland combination- horse riding and fascinating nature; a unique riding holiday.

Note: We lend rain coats to those who need (upon request).
