Before travelling the world, Henrik lived on a family farm in Mosfellsbær, a town surrounded by mossy mountains.
In his travels, he has explored many wonderful and beautiful places. He has fond memories of taking guided tours filled with laughter and wisdom. The guides on those tours motivated him to become a guide in Iceland. He started guiding couch surfers and friends from abroad as a hobby in 2013 and has been with Icelandic Mountain Guides since 2015.
Henrik has the travel bug, so he tries to go to different places. He also enjoys painting, playing guitar, climbing, kayaking, cooking, and learning new things. A few of his favorite things are the ever changing glaciers, raw natural beauty, and forests that are taller than him. Some items on his bucket list include visiting more wonders in the world, climbing amazing mountains, changing the world with a smile and conquering the world as well.
