Marco was born close the mountains of Italy and home is Bologna. He has a background in industrial rigging work, hanging off sky scrapers or fixing wind turbines. Marco also enjoys ski touring. He's relatively new to guiding and 2017 is his first season with IMG, but he has spent 20 years climbing extensively in Europe, South America and in the Himalaya.
