Steinar Mar is the web manager / web developer at Icelandic Mountain Guides and knows a little bit about html, css, js, php, razor, xlst, react, python et cetera. He is a member of the marketing department and has been with the company since early 2009. He is also the person responsible for any in-house IT. When things break or stop working, you can find him taking them apart and trying to fix them. Before joining IMG, he was a surveyor on the Kárahnjúkar hydropower plant project in the eastern highlands of Iceland.
Steinar is an amateur photographer and currently the Mamiya RB67, a medium format film camera, is his favorite. He is also a music lover and has been collecting vinyl since his teenage years. He is an amateur dj and has played in various venues in Reykjavík and Akureyri.
