Þóra, a native Icelander who grew up in a farm in south Iceland who has also lived in Denmark for a couple of years. She became a guide because of her passion for outdoors exploring and love for Iceland‘s unique landscape and nature. Þóra‘s main job is in the IT sector but has worked for Icelandic Mountain Guides every summer since 2012 and as a guide for more than 20 years. Her hobbies outside of work are running, tennis, biking and knitting. Her favorite places in Iceland are Þórsmörk, Fjallabak and Hornstrandir and her bucket list includes exploring more in Greenland.

Þóra is a certified guide and has finished Wilderness First Respodnder course.
