Explore the Stunning Secret Ice Cave Along The South Coast of Iceland

Join us on this tour to the Secret Ice Cave of Kötlujökull Glacier. Located directly under the dormant volcano Katla, this ice cave is a great example of the dynamic natural forces that shape this country.

To get to the cave, you must take a bumpy road, only accessible by modified 4x4 vehicles. During the drive, use the time to take in the stunning view as you drive through vast black sands that are broken up by emerald green mountains and hills.

Once there, you are greeted with an ash covered wall of ice, marked by the volcanic eruptions of the past. As you walk closer to the glacier, an enchanting opening will appear that will allow you to explore the insides of the glacier. The cave's illuminating blue ice walls form a high contrast with the surrounding black ash and are a marvellous sight.

Don't miss this opportunity to visit the only accessible ice cave in this region.
