What's Shaking? Recent Earthquakes in Iceland, Eruptions?
Wednesday 24th February 2021 started off the same as any other, people travelling to work, taking their kids to school, the usual. But just after 10:00, planet Iceland decided to switch it up and give the locals something to talk about. A series of earthquakes started to hit the South West of the country, on the Reykjanes peninsula, with the largest measuring around 5.7 at the time.
Our Favourite Thing: Icelandic Music
Icelandic music is something that makes me proud of my home country. Many of our musicians and bands are known worldwide, starting with Mezzoforté who became popular for their song Garden Party in 1982 and now more recently Kaleo and Of Monsters and Men becoming mainstream global artists.
